Ellie Graves

Ellie Graves is Head of Content in University Communications and Marketing (UCM), where she leads the University’s content strategy and oversees its flagship platforms, including institutional social media; Pitt Magazine, the alumni magazine; and Pittwire, the University’s news site. In this role, she provides leadership and strategic direction to the teams responsible for sharing Pitt’s most compelling stories across digital, print, and social channels. She also serves as the lead for Office of the Chancellor communications within UCM.

Ellie works closely with colleagues in the Office of External Relations to ensure institutional messaging aligns with executive priorities. Since joining Pitt in 2013, she has held a range of roles in UCM and developed deep experience collaborating with marketing, web services, and publications teams, as well as communicators and leaders across the University. Her work has focused on advancing integrated strategies that support the University’s mission.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in communication from the University of Tulsa.
