Zachary Beresh, Head of Creative Services, manages the photo, video, and design teams for University Communications and Marketing, working on integrated campaigns, collaborating on branding initiatives, and leading design projects across the University.
Prior to joining Pitt in 2022, Zach worked at a variety of agencies and internal teams, managing designers and creatives on projects ranging from retail and finance to higher education and healthcare.
Zach has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, with his junior year spent at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh through their College Affiliate Program. He is a member of the Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators and AIGA with interests ranging from wood working, landscape design, animation, and painting.
Originally from Connecticut, Zach grew up in Akron, Ohio (a proud graduate of the Manchester Panthers) but has called the North Hills of Pittsburgh his home for over the last 18 years with his wife, Kara.
